'd like to wish you a very warm welcome to my web. I come from Lidkoping, a small town in Sweden, and now live in California. My love story with these beautiful objects, antique American costume jewelry, began back in 1977 when I came across them at flea markets, and was amazed to discover that they cost almost nothing!
I became infatuated with their beauty, with the creativity and fantasy of their design, with the exceptional use of color. As my collection built up I began to trade and eventually sell some of my pieces. In those days they were easy to find and very inexpensive. I had a rule then, nothing over $3!
The more I bought the more I wanted to know about these designs and manufacturers. My taste became more refined. I couldn't bear to part with some pieces, especially Miriam Haskell. Today I travel the world on an endless quest for beautiful pieces of costume Jewelry which have become more and more difficult to find. I just can't stop, and despite the difficulties I still manage to put together a beautiful collection to offer my clients.
